11/24/2009 CHAMBER FESTIVAL 2009
The Chamber of Commerce and participating members have invited the public to join them for the Chamber Festival – a week long celebration that will be sure to put everyone in the holiday mood.
The Chamber of Commerce kicked off their week of activities and promotions on Sunday, November 22nd with a Holiday Craft Market from 1 – 6 p.m. at No. 6 Shed featuring: plants, holiday crafts, jams, mini donuts, gourmet food items, art, cigars and jewelry. There will be a kiddie area outside complete with face painting, a large slide and Fun-castle. Dangelini’s served coffee, tea and baked goodies and both Gosling’s and Barritt’s provided samples of their products.
Retail, restaurant and hotel employees, together with members of the Chamber’s Executive Board and BEPRO were pitted against each other in wacky relay races down Front Street, with the entertaining Bruce Barritt acting as the afternoon’s “Wacky MC.” The Mayor of Hamilton, President and Executive Vice President of the Chamber and heads of both the Retail and Restaurant Division were on hand to welcome those in attendance.
