Bermuda's Emerging Professionals

The newest Division of the Chamber of Commerce, the mission of BEPRO is to connect a diverse and progressive network of emerging professionals who wish to develop professionally, socially and civically.  The group aims to provide professionals, from a broad range of industries in Bermuda, who are in the early years of their careers with opportunities to network with one another, develop their professional skills, and contribute to the community.

The profile of their members is diverse – associates, newly qualified students, managers and trainees across all industries and professions. The one common factor is that they are all keen to belong to an organization that encourages constructive exchanges of knowledge, expertise and friendships.

Throughout the year, BEPRO hosts and participates in a variety of events including Thirsty Thursdays, Martini Tastings, Quiz Nights, a Women’s Conference, KBB & Big Brothers Big Sisters Clean Up, Stress & Coping Seminars, Tag Days, Aids Walk, an Art Exhibit and numerous informative Lunch n Learns.

Involvement is encouraged through participation on any of the following Committees:

• Professional Development – plans and coordinate all professional events including seminars, Lunch n Learns, Power Breakfasts and conferences.
• Community Development – organizes all volunteer opportunities and civic leadership development programs.
• Marketing & Membership – creates all external communications ie. print ads, flyers, newsletters, promotional materials and are responsible for the content of the website.
• Social Events – plan events that are unique and appealing to the membership and liaise with sponsors, vendors and host venues to bring the members together in an atmosphere conducive to networking.
